Wait a week after your date before you start getting angry with people.

@Britt214:  i plan to wait three days past the deadline (the amount of time it takes mail to get to our home from the furthest-away guest’s home) before i start calling people.

I don’t get it either. I was convinced that I had made RSVPing so easy, everybody would do it and I wouldn’t have to track anyone down. Boy, was I wrong! So frustrating!

Today was our RSVP deadline too, and I’ve only heard from about half our guest list at this point. (We do have a smaller list though.) I’m going to give people until after the holiday just in case before we start tracking them down. I’m a bit surprised that none of them have even tried to message me on Facebook or anything.

@TwoStatesBride:  I like this idea. I’d give them the benefit of the doubt that they sent it off on the last day. And then when the last day for extremely late replies come in, I’d start to call around.

@Tarheelgurl:  that’s what i’m going to do. 9 times out of 10, they just totally forgot about the RSVP, but JUST IN CASE they had an alarm set in their phone like ‘send in TwoStatesBride’s RSVP’ then I’m going to wait 3 days past the deadline. haha
