Currently I'm helping someone doing their wedding invitations. Usually the RSVP reponds cards are a month or two months before the actual date of the wedding.
We had a July 15th wedding and set the RSVP date for July 1st.
If it's not too huge of a wedding, then I think a month should be ok. We set our RSVP date a month ahead of the date as well. It will give us time to track down the ppl that haven't replied.

I probably shouldn't ask this because I already gocco'd my rsvp cards but....how many days/weeks before your date did you make the rsvp date?
We are having a destination wedding (vegas) and I have no idea how many people are going to come. I set the RSVP date for a month before. Our place only needs firm number a week before. What I am worried about is getting all the DIY stuff, that I can't start after I get a number, done in time i.e. placecards, programs, favors, oot bags and newsletters etc.
TIA!!
