my wedding is october 14th….the venue needs the headcount for october 5th. when should i have my rsvp date for on my invites.
i was thinking september 14th…is 2 weeks enough time to hunt down stragglers?
also i ordered samples from invitations from dawn. has anybody used them? i am looking for a rustic invite with tractors or mason jars or possibly wood grain. i loved one i saw on minted with a tractor on it, but it was going to cost me like $400+ for 75 invited. eeek.
if anybody has any suggestions, please let me know. i am open to light DIY..but don’t want to be a slave to the glue stick.

I ordered Wood Grain Pocketfolds from Cards and Pockets. They’ve been a real hit.
Our STD’s came from Vistaprint…

I would say at least 2 weeks from your cutoff date – but make it a day they can remember. I’d say September 10th is a good day, as people tend to remember multiples of 5 a lot better for some reason! You’ll have plenty of time to call stragglers.

@mandapants23: I think Sept 14 sounds great b/c it’s a month out from your wedding. I am doing the same thing – requiring the RSVP’s a month out before my wedding, even though the caterer does not need the final headcount until 10 days before the wedding.
