I have never seen a folded RSVP envelope. Although, it obviously could be done. It seems to me you have this beautiful invitation and then a folded RSVP envelope might seem odd.
If I was in this situation I would probably redo the RSVP cards and envelopes, but then again I am a perfectionist.
Is there a way you can cut down your RSVP cards to the next smallest envelope size?

I've received an RSVP with a folded envelope. It wasn't a big deal, I just stuck the RSVP in it and sent it on it's way.
To me, it would seem like a waste of time and/or money to get different RSVP's or cut them down.

Can you put the envelope in the pocketfold if you turn it sideways? Or is it too tall that way? You can also just insert the RSVP envelope in the middle of the pocketfold.
I have received invitations where the RSVP envelope was folded, and also where it was in the invitation envelope separately from the rest of the invitation, so I'm sure that either one is just fine. If you have to have it perfect, and it's not a huge expense to re-order your RSVPs and envelopes in a smaller size (and you have time...) that's also an option. Depending on where you ordered from, they may take back any unopened packages of cardstock or envelopes in exchange. And I'm assuming here that you ordered blanks and haven't had them printed, right? If they are already printed, I'd be more likely to try to make them work.

I ordered all of our stuff for our pocketfold invitations and I have run into a bit of a problem. I was hoping that the RSVP envelope would fit in the pocket (behind the inserts). When I tried to put the envelope in the pocket it wouldn't fit, it's the exact same size as the pocket fold and for some reason when I was sizing/ordering, I didn't take into account the fact that there would be space taken up by the pocket portion itself, so the envelope wouldn't fit. :-(
I would order smaller envelopes, but then the rsvp card wouldn't fit. My FI suggested we fold the envelope in half and slide it in. Has anyone ever received a rsvp envelope that is folded? Do you think this could be a problem?
