We did online RSVP’s as well. it worked out great. I just think about how much money we saved doing it that way and what we have been able to use that extra money for and it reminds me why we did it in the first place. people don’t remember your RSVP card, they remember your wedding 😉

We’re doing the same  🙂   We have 25 replies so far in less than 2 weeks since I mailed the invites .

@bleuangele:  I’m very interested in doing the same!!! What website did you use to make your site? I’m afraid I’m not a very good online person!

My FI had a blast putting together a Google form for our RSVPs that somehow links into the main spreadsheet we are using to organize guest info. It took him a while but it’s totally his thing, he was really proud of it 🙂

The online RSVPs made sense for us since we have a whole bunch of international guests and the return postage for RSVP cards was getting too complicated- and we were still able to put cute RSVP inserts in with our invite. Glad to hear it’s worked out well for others- we’ll see what our turnout is soon!

im doing it a little different… for those we know who use the internet we are doing rsvp online, but we do have some older adults that dont go online so we will be using traditional rsvps for them. but i love online rsvp- super easy and cheap!

We’re doing online RSVPs as well.  To me it wasn’t worth the cost of postage and extra cards (yes, I am that cheap). I did the whole shebang the first time around and now I’m doing homemade invites, LOL.

I just set our online RSVP up on wedding wire.  We too have over half of our guests international.  We’ll also give them a phone number (in their country) they can call.

Not only does it save the reply postage (and less waste), it makes the invite less to send out b/c it weighs less without the card & envelope. Woohoo!
