@kthun: So we're kind of doing both. We have a google doc on our website. We'll send RSVP cards with envelops. But we'll encourage them to be green and RSVP online.
People rsvp'd through our wedding website. I found it to be really simple. It was easy to keep track of people and was a great excuse to keep checking my email.
Thank you both for your comments. My mom started to question me about the RSVP's and strongly suggested that we have them come through the mail, but I really don't want to! I'm thrilled that I'm not the only one that thinks online is a good idea. I think we'll also put our phone number for those very few people who won't want to go online.

Hello All- I am having a small destination wedding and am considering just having people RSVP via email. Is that tacky? Should I just include an rsvp postcard? I feel like we are in the technology day and age but I don't want people to think I'm nuts. Thoughts?
