Okay. Our RSVP deadline is April 1 and we have like, 15 families who have yet to RSVP. I know that isn’t too many…. but can I just vent about how inconsiderate it is to just IGNORE the deadline?!
I’m totally over-reacting, I know 🙂 But for REAL, people. Just check a box and stick it in the mail, already!

Yea some people really are trying to figure out if they can come because of work or kids but more often people just forget. I always do it right away because I would forget.

You should probably wait a few days after the deadline. People might send it on the day of the deadline, meaning you get it later. I hate it when people don’t honor deadlines either… it’s really annoying, but I have to give myself a “come to earth” talk when times not up yet. I think the earlier the better, but not everyone is like me 🙁

I’m not going to send paper RSVPs with most of my invites. I might for some of the older guests, but the rest I’m going to either set up a website or give them contact info and a deadline.

They might’ve forgotten! People just suck like that sometimes =( Since planning this wedding, we’ve gone to two weddings and I made sure to send the RSVP back the next day after receiving it. haha =)

Annoying, yes… But who really ever paid attention to that kind of thing until they started planning a wedding (either their own or a friend’s.)
Take a deep breath, have your bridesmaids call to follow up if they still haven’t responded a couple days after the deadline.

I know, I know. I took a deep breath 🙂 And you’re right: who pays attention to this unless its a bride planning a wedding??

I feel ya. I’m irritated as hell that 2 weeks after the deadine, I still don’t have them all.
