- Wedding: February 2010
This weekend I wrote all the text for our invites and insert cards. Overall, I’m happy with everything, but the RSVP card wording still bothers me and I don’t know why. I’ve gone through 3 different wordings and I’m still unsure…
What do you think of this RSVP card wording? Is it ok? How would you improve it?
We have reserved ___ seat(s) in your honor.
Please email us at [email address] or call us at [phone number] to respond.
When contacting us, please indicate the name(s) of the person(s) attending, and if you will use our transportation from [hotel] to [ceremony].
Kindly reply before January 20, 2010.
The transportation thing is because our reception site (the hotel) and the ceremony site are significantly far away from each other, so we’re providing transportation for everyone who doesn’t want to drive themselves, so we need a head count.
We also have a spanish version, since our wedding has to be bilingual (my family doesn’t speak english), and I’m also unsure about the wording. If anyone here speaks spanish, I’d also love to know what you think of this wording and how would you improve it.
