you COULD take # attending..thats what the M______________ is for. They should put the name or names of the people attending there...
I think it looks fine, but I am not great at editing stuff. Why do guests have to write the number accepting/declining and then also the number attending? Isn't that kinda redundant?
I think you need to drop the "s" in "accepts," since the majority are probably couples, correct?
Either way, it needs to be "accepts" & "declines" or "accept" & "decline."
The pound sign is also redundant since you nave number attending next to it.

nooo you don't fill out any of the response card other than the number of seats you have reserved for them. they fill out the rest.
yea it should look like this
M_______________________________
2 seats have been reserved for you (or however many)
___ accept with pleasure
___ decline with regret.
I know its confusing..but they pretty much fill out the whole response card themselves!
i've heard of some people filling out the M_______ line just for convenience.
that way the guest has it easy, and you don't have to worry about getting it back empty.
i guess it depends on whether you want to stick to etiquette or if you don't care.
I've never seen a response card filled out for you, ever. Its generally easier to let them do it in case you don't know the name of their guest (if you're allowing them to bring a guest). I haven't gotten one empty response card. People generally know what to do with it.
Second to everything scissors said! I drafted my response in my mind but she covered it all!
