Nope. this is normal. You'll get an influx of RSVP's right around the rsvp date. Right up to about 5 days later. Then, I say that's the cut off
Our guests -- mainly friends and the mister's side -- is being slow to respond, too. But, you should have plenty of time to gather those missing folks after the deadline and in time for your wedding. We NEED our answers by the day after the response date listed on the invites!
I agree with ejs4y8. In fact, I've gotten a lot of oral RSVPs from my parents friends instead of the card or online RSVP options.
yep totally normal. We were still missing over half when the deadline hit. We had to make a ton of phone calls, but we finally heard from everyone a few weeks later.
I'd say that's probably right around normal. We got most of our replies within a couple of days of the reply-by date. I was totally expecting them to arrive earlier, but that just didn't happen. We got a few that were sent right away (from our parents, siblings and wedding party) and the rest...well, let's just say people took their time!

Nine days before the response date and we only have 1/3 in so far! Where are these people?? Should I be getting nervous? Response date is 8-1.
