I love this idea and if it makes you feel pretty and this is something you have been wanting to do then DO IT! You will regret it if you don’t. I have to keep telling myself to come back to the things that I know I really want because you can get carried away with so many options and choices out there!!!

I’m doing the same thing — my colors are cornflower blue and brown, but I’m wearing red shoes.  I love them and my fiance thinks red shoes are hot, so I don’t care that they don’t match!

Where did you find your ruby slippers!? I had this same idea, but when I looked online everything looked too cheesy or was for little girls.

Such a cute idea…who cares if the colors clash?  Martha Stewart won’t show up and scold you, I promise!  It’s your wedding, do what makes your heart sing.

That would be great!  Could you add in a little ruby sparkle maybe into your bouquet?  Something small but subtle for pics of you?

Show us your ruby slippers!  What a cute idea!

Oh…and maybe a lovely shade of ruby red on your toes to match?

I’m wearing red boots (my own version of the ruby slipper) despite the fact that our wedding is supposedly blue and champagne…  It’ll be great.

I can’t wait to see what you find.

I think that is a cute idea. 🙂 I think it’s personal for you and I don’t think it matters that it is not the same color as the rest of your wedding decor. 🙂

I love your idea vista girl!!!!  Makes me want to keep looking for some outragously cute shoes, rather than going the safe and practical route!

My wedding is a beach wedding so i won’t be wearing shoes untill the reception but at the reception i plan on wearing the reddest shoes i can find!! My wedding clors are Pool, Cnary, violet, and pink so red does not fit at all!! To be honest i do not care and my fiance said that it wouldn’t be my wedding if i didn’t wear the most "fabulous" shoes i could find! Yes he did the finger thing when he made that comment!! But do what you want, it is all about you!!!

O my shoes are opened toed, what color polish should i wear?

Go for it! I don’t think the colors will clash. Dorothy wore a blue dress! And the brick road was yellow!
