@FutureMrsKenward:  I don’t know if I’d consider $190 very expensive, but I WOULD consider your MOH an extremely rude person. Who even says that?! It’s one thing to say “hey, I don’t like this color or style, could we maybe come to a compromise”, but to flat out say it’s the walmart of dress shops… disgusting. Can you have a talk with her about that?

@FutureMrsKenward:  You asked her to stand up for you, you offered to pay for her dress and she is taking issue with it? So it’s costing her nothing and she’s griping about it?

I’d be very honest with her and remind her that it is your wedding and she is welcome to choose something different for her own wedding but this is your choice.  If she doesn’t want to wear it, she doesn’t have to participate.  It’s very simple, her behavior is unacceptable and you won’t tolerate it.

@FutureMrsKenward:  its fine, my bridesmaids pitched a fit about dress costs, and so i took them to david’s, only to hear later that one of my girls threw a dress on the floor there and said “it doesnt matter if i take care of it, the dresses here are cheap” meaning cheap quality.

ummmm so why did you insist we go here?

Some people just poo-poo all over everything. Tell her to quit being a d-bag, or she can fork over the cost of the dress and see how cheap it seems then.

@FutureMrsKenward:  Why did you cancel so many services just to afford their dresses?  Really, that’s a bit too nice of you.  I would be super pissed if I were in your shoes and had to cancel my phone, internet and tv just to buy some girls dresses they’re going to bitch about.

@FutureMrsKenward:  … I get that its a jerky thing to say, but David’s IS a chain store, and known for their bargains…plus, she can get all haughty if she wants, we all know that some of the best things in life come from Walmart…

@FutureMrsKenward:  …insulting your friend for buying your bridesmaid dress?  Wow, she sounds awesome…..the next time she hauls out that old bit about it being the Walmart of Bridal Stores…just look at her and say, “And here you are, the Judas of Bridesmaids…ain’t nothing to good for you honey.”

…that should take care of that.

That is pretty rude and inconsiderate. It’s always been a mystery to me why bridesmaids feel the need to be so nasty about someone else’s day, ESPECIALLY since you paid for her dress! She agreed to stand up there with you so she should be a lot more respectful. I’m sorry!

@FutureMrsKenward:  Ugh. She’s being a brat. Can you be like, “Hey, Miss Fancypants, what exactly would it take to make you feel better about this? I asked you to be MOH because I love you, and we’re having a wedding here, not a fashion show.”

@FutureMrsKenward:  Of course!! I’m just super pissed for you!  You went above and beyond to make things easy and affordable for your girls, and then they go and be rude about it.  Grrrr
