I started running about 3 weeks ago, but not on a treadmill (although I own one!) so I am assuming I run outside at about a 6 miles/hr. The area I live in has a lot of small hills so I guess that is equivalent to a little incline.

On a treadmill I think I’m closer to a 7.0 with incline. Running on a treadmill is easier for me because the moving tread makes movement easier and I’m distracted by the TV :p

i am doing C25K and i run at about 5.6 with a 1-2 incline to simulate running outside. it lets me run longer distances. if i was just doing a mile or so i could probably do about 6.5 to 7ish…

Usually I either run outside or run intervals on the treadmill.  Outside I probably run at about a 6.0 pace.  On the treadmill I’ll usually do 6-6.4 with little to no incline for long distances or (more frequently) crank it up to 7-8 for a quarter mile, then slow way down for the next quarter mile, and repeat.
