I actually use the Nike+ GPS on the iphone, its excellent and you dont need the Nike shoes to put the chip in.

@daydreamwanderer: Yes, you have to buy a nike sensor and sport kit, unless you have an iPhone. Then you only need the sensor :)
Its basically a sophisticated pedometer that tells you how fast and how far you are going. I just got mine and so far I love it

I think this is probably too much of an investment for me right now ... eh, I probably should just avoid the fitness board ;)
@daydreamwanderer: there is a sling you can use with the sensor if you don't want to get nike shoes. but yeah, it is a bit of an investment but it has been quite motivating for me. i've definitely got my money's worth!

Hey Bees.... I was going to see if anyone would be interested in starting a weddingbee group on Nike+
I just got my sensor and its a really great movitator for running. I logged my first run today and I am already addicted :D
So, if anyone wants to join me, I will set up a group and we can all join the group! We can compete against each other and other fun stuff to keep us motivated
