@NippyBeetle: i believe it was miss pony on the blogs that documented her expirience with ROTB. she had some helpful advice for brides who wanted to go. :)
I went to one in Boston just for the experience. I went in with the goal just to have fun and not really worry about finding a dress. I went with my mom and we had a blast.
Most people find that if they don't want to do the mad rush, it's usually better to go in the afternoon when the dresses are back on the racks and it becomes like a big store, with people calmly trying on dresses.
I personally did not see any Maggie dresses or any designers aside from one Amsale that was so ivory it was yellow. I've seen people post pictures of beautiful dresses they found at ROTB but I personally didn't have that experience.

Is anyone going to or has been to one? I'm going to the one in DC tomorrow and have read a lot of articles but I'm wondering if it is worth it? I have a specific Maggie Sottero dress in mind from her new line and I'm just wondering how good the selection actually is. I went to a bridal shop that was advertised as a shop that collects designer gowns and sells them cheap-I swear they were the ugliest dresses I've ever seen-and no designers I recognized. I picked 2 out to try on just to be nice. I've also heard they're gone if you aren't there from the very first second and I might be 1/2 an hour late. Any tips or experience?
