- Wedding: October 2014
Hey bees! Hoping y’all can help me out with this one. My mother gave me her original wedding band (dad got her a fancy one a couple Christmases ago!) to use for my wedding, but it is hopelessly dated and WAY too small. I am going to have the gold re-cast to make a plain band for myself, which leaves three tiny diamond chips that I am dying to use in a gift for my sister – I am having a ridiculously hard time coming up with jewelery ideas that involve only three diamond chips! I originally thought of putting them in a pendant for a necklace, but she’s not much of a necklace wearer until she was recently given a necklace belonging to a friend that passed away. I’ve toyed with the idea of a thin right hand ring (she is not engaged or married) but I have no idea how to incorporate the stones without it looking like a wedding band! For some reference, my sister is a pretty chic dresser and usually looks like she just walked out of an Anthropologie ad, so nothing gaudy or overstated! Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!
