(Closed) Rush alterations — what can be done and how much $$

A lot of alterations people from my area require 7 days to alter a dress, depending on what needs to be done. What material is it and does it have any special beading or lace that will be hard to fix? If it only needs hemmed or something like that it won’t take as long

I don’t think that would take that long then! WHere are you from though? I live in the Midwest so it might be different somewhere else

Oh, yeah, everything is more expensive there. I live in Kansas City. what I would do is find an alterations lady and talk to her in advance about your dress. That way as soon as it comes in you can take it to her on the same day and she will know your situation. If you know what day it is going to be here (with ups or something) then you can plan around it!I’m getting my dress from Colorado Springs so I know how stressful out of state dress buying can be!
