Hi all!
Need some rustic, strong baby boy names. DH and I are having a tough time. The middle name is going to be Joseph. I am italian and love italian names but DH has a very german last name so most don't work well. We really love rustic/country names that are different but not too different, but we are finding it hard to come up with some that we love! Any suggestions!
A few we liked but then discarded
Kase- We are afraid people would start calling him Kasey
Max- I don't love it, but DH likes it
Gage- I love it, but I hate when people say oh that is the kid from Pet Cementry!
what about Chase? or Mason?
I like the name Cale too, like Caleb...
Parker is a good one too...
Kyle is always a good name for a boy...
I like Mason but in the last 6 months I know 4 baby boys that were named it! It's become super popular! Chase I like too but DH knew a Chase that was a bully and he didn't like him.
I hate how you love a name and then you associated with something that you don't love and it ruins it! LOL!

How about Brandt, Brooks, Bryce, Colton, Landon, Shelby, Dane
Hunter is about as rustic and strong as it gets if you ask me. There's always ones like Stone and Rusty.
Honestly, I'm going to go through every country singer I can think of that fits what you're looking for!

Henley definitly sounds like a girls name to me. A pretty girls name at that!
@elibas: AH! I loved the name Connor until I started watching Angel on netflix - now I can't stand it!
I'm a fan of Wyatt perhaps because it's my husband's name. And Cash. I liked Levi until it became high(ish) profile. And I'm kind of opposed to naming a kid after someone who is or is related to a Palin.
Have you seen you can't call it it? http://www.youcantcallitit.com/ You should ask her or search to see if she's done country names. I really like Wyatt and Gray/Grayson of the names suggested,
If I were born a boy, my name was going to be Rustin.
Friend's boy's middle name is Rowdy and will go by Rowdy.

If I were a boy my name would've been Chance. I am not a huge fan, but it is pretty country sounding!
My husbands name is Remington. I love it! It sounds so strong and manly. :)

@ams12: I have a nephew named Gage! And unfortunately my SIL named him after that movie! However, several years later she found out there was a general in the Battle of Gettysburg with the name Gage and now we use that as the explanation, so if you love the name you could always go with that.
I friend of mine who was recently expecting was tossing the name Colt around for a boy, but she ended up having a little girl :)
