My wedding will be at Tabor Home Winery in Baldwin, Iowa which has a century-barn on it, but only the veranda is usable for the wedding. (And its a bit of a drive from Iowa City) Here is the site just in case: http://www.taborhomewinery.com/
@eputman: If you are still looking for a barn, The Celebration Farm in Iowa City is pretty amazing! There are two to choose from, and they are only 4 miles from the I80 exit off of Hwy 1. You can check out the website at www.thecelebrationfarm.com

Hi ladies, I just recently got engaged and am having a hard time finding the perfect venue for our ceremony/reception site. We live in San Francisco but I'm from Iowa so we want to have the wedding there. I would LOVE to plan a rustic/rural wedding somewhere in the Iowa City area, i.e. Solon, Tiffin, North Liberty, etc. I've looked at the Schwab Celebration Barns and fell in love with the older barn in Solon but right now it isn't in operation so I'm back to square one. I've also looked at Wilson's Apple Orchard in Iowa City and Sutcliff Cider in Lisbon. Any other ideas?? Much appreciated!
