Most likely getting married in November! Wooohoo!
I was wondering if anyone could link me to some resources regarding possible honeymoon destinations in the Seattle area? We’re looking for something affordable. We’re thinking of renting a cabin some place where there’s lots of hiking trails and outdoorsy stuff.
We don’t want anything fancy — we aren’t fancy people. 😉 Just something quaint and inexpensive.
I’m from BC Canada and have frequented the Seattle area often but I just don’t know it well enough to find something and Google isn’t really helping. 😛
Anyone have any ideas? Muchly appreciated in advance!

I used to live in Mukilteo and it was kind of out in the boonies, you could take a ferry out to Whidbey Island also, that place was really pretty. I’d look into whidbey island cabins/rental condos.

We had a wonderful time staying at a cabin at Mt. Rainier…hiking during the wet days, soaking up some hot tub and relaxing in the cabin in the evenings.
We stayed here and it was quaint and cozy…

We’re staying at a rental cabin on the shores of Big Lake near Mount Vernon for a night in June. I know there’s a hot tub.

The manflesh and I stayed here for a long weekend when we just started dating, and it was cozy and charming. Lots of fun outdoorsy stuff to do in the area:
