Well, it's too bad you are only looking north of Columbus because Hocking Hills area probably would have some nice rustic venues down there, but that's about an hour south of Columbus.
Oh no! I am open to that :] Do you have any names of places you could offer up? I'm starting to get a little worried I won't be able to fulfill my vision. Thanks so much!
Well, here is something I found:

Also, I know they have a barn at Westerville's Heritage Park. Not sure what the inside looks like, but maybe that could work. Westerville is a suburb of Columbus.
I will try to see if I can find more for you.
There's a great barn in westerville(North Columbus) called the Everal Barn/Homestead that might work. That might be the best of both worlds with the polaris hotels so close by,

Hi ladies! I am originally from the Youngstown, Ohio area but am active duty military and have been stationed in upstate New York. My entire family still lives in Ohio and my fiance's family is right along the Ohio border in Indiana. So we are looking to have our wedding in Ohio, but nowhere specific because just about everywhere from Columbus up north to Lake Erie is half-way for our families. I'm dead set on going with a "rustic/barn" theme but I'm having a HORRIBLE time finding any types of venues online. Does anybody know of any local places to where you live that fit this description? Thanks a bunch!
