I discovered this location AFTER booking my venue sadly, and I don't know the rental cost, but it looks incredible: The Conservatory @ Sussex county fairgrounds (http://www.newjerseystatefair.org/conservatory/conservatory_gallery.cfm). Rutgers Gardens might suit your budget/style. They have a suggested caterer but really let you use anyone for a tiny (2$/pp) fee

First off, thanks to everyone in advance for taking the time to help my fiance and I out. I proposed to my fiance earlier on July 4th and we have been looking for venues since then feverishly!
We're on a particularly low budget (10k) and are hoping to invite ~100 guests total. We can figure out catering later but are curious to see if anyone has any suggestions on any particular rustic venues that don't lump their catering with it. Crossed Keys is a dream wedding for us and that venue really dropped a reality check on us after reviewing the costs (20k at least).
Any suggestions would be much appreciated, but we would either like an indoors barn wedding or a tented wedding with large grassy hills, old buildings, forested to a certain extent if possible.
Please let me know if there's any more information I could provide to help any suggestions! Thank you so much!
