looks great!!
tell me more about your smore station! did you have different flavored marshmallows? did your guests get to roast the marshmallows?
Such a beautiful setting! I love all the little details you put into it. What a great depction of the rustic theme. Can't wait to see more pics, if you're planning on posting more.
How nice! Your projects all came out so well and really fit with your theme.
Congrats!
You are the only other one that I have seen with a old wood table runner. I love it!
What a lovely venue! And the DIY details are sweet! Congrats :)
Thank you for the sweet comments ;)
@ MissTaken - We sure did have different flavored marshmellow - 5 to be exact :) We also had 3 different types of chocolate. Because we had our reception in a park, there was a little fire place at the other end. We brought our wicker patio set and placed it in the front of the fire for guests to sit and enjoy making a Smore!
love the details -especially the varigated pitt with the stock -it really gives a great texture. Congrats! You put a lot of thought into your details and it shows.
I love your cake stand!
I'll admit that when I read about someone doing a smores bar here, I didn't get it. It sounded sloppy for a wedding. But yours is absolutely gorgeous. Well done!
I love the cake stand and the smores station! Everything looked great!

After eight months of planning, umteen DIY projects, and the stress of having an outdoor wedding, out wedding day turned out perfect. After stressing during the few weeks before and rushing to set up the night before, it all turned out to be worth it. I am a very detail-oriented person and concentrate on the little things, which worried me. I thought I would be worried about the little things, or if things didn't turn out the way I had planned and visioned it. But, on the big day - it all seemed to not matter. The only thing that mattered to me was my new husband and I- enjoying our day together and having the chance to spend time with friends and family.
Below, I posted a few pictures of our rustic wedding.
Ceremony - Letchworth State Park, NY
Reception - Park Shelter/Tent
