@realtreegal:  we found antique style wire birdcages that we filled the bottom of with wild flowers and put a pillar candle in the center of. We set it on a square of burlap fabric and that was our centerpiece. Nice and simple.

I’d love to see lanterns! Maybe potted cacti?

Use succulents!  Think of them as non-prickly Cacti!

@realtreegal:

What about soemthing like this? Its still rustic minus the mason jars that you are trying to avoid

I also think any of these below could work

@realtreegal:  since your venue itself is so “rustic” what if you went a litte more sweet/vintagy? like milk glass vaces filled with flowers, tree branches (idk if you have cedar trees around you can cut some branches from, they smell so darn good) soft light colors with lace. you could do a true green palet (pale green all the way to a hunter green)  i think your venue is already so “brown” that brown items will just blend in.

ill have to do some digging to find some pictures

So, when I think of old west was comes to mind are wagon wheels, cowboy hats/boots, maybe sheriff stars as escort cards, rope/lassos etc. I think the old ghostown vibe could really be played up if you wanted to.
