Many old cut diamonds will fall into those color ranges, but if you want a new diamond I suggest you contact Diamonds by Lauren in New York. David  frequently gets diamonds in those color ranges and he also specializes in fancy colored diamonds. I would also suggest looking at Good Old Gold at their AVRs and AVCs- these are new diamonds in old cuts- very beautiful. You will find many of these in cape colors too. Here is a pic of my Y/Z yellow diamond surrounded with natural fancy pink diamonds- purchased from Diamonds by Lauren.

I don’t have one but love them! I had mentioned the idea of a pale yellow diamond to my fh, but he didn’t go for it. Share with us if you wind up going that route!

Also most jewellers should be able to source stones in that range. I can’t think of any where online that would have rb in that range but second the idea of looking at OECs or OEMs. Good oldgold and old world diamonds have good reputations.

I would def set in in yellow gold if you go that route, and play up the yellow.  🙂

Thanks, Ms Bombay, Yes- the yellow diamond is a cushion. Prongs and basket are in 18kt yellow gold, pink diamonds are in 18kt rose gold, and the band is platinum.  I agree that depending how “yellow” you go you might like yellow prongs and white gold everything else. I  also think a lot of the “ivory” shades of diamonds  look amazing in unplated white gold which is a softer, almost creamy white gold color.

Oh, and if you look at Old World Diamonds, Adam does not put much on his website, so it’s best to call him. He specializes in old cuts and has very good prices!!  Good old Gold’s newer AVCs and AVRs are quite pricey.
