Welcome to the boards! I have the SaBelle but mine already came with a bustle since I bought my dress from another bride. Mine has a 3 part to it to hold up the train. I just want u to beware of where u take your dress to get a bustle done as many will tell you differently. One place i went to told me that i will need 10 bustles and the other bustles will need to be taken out and another place told me i would need about 5. I havent figured out the bustle that has been put in but ill be taking my dress tomorrow to another place that can possibly help me out with the bustle.
My daughter is wearing the Sabelle in June. She has a french bustle - about a 7 or 8 point. I'm in charge of tying it up on the big day...I think I better practice a couple of times! When it's all bustled, it looked great, like it was designed to look that way. I don't know how she was able to hide that huge train, but she did! Try to find a seamstress who has done this dress before and it should be no problem!
Can anyone post pictures of the bustle? I am wearing the SaBelle in September and I am also very concerned!! The dress is very heavy and the last wedding I went to the bride's bustle broke during their first dance and had to be tucked into the back of her dress for the remainder of the evening...and her dress was simple... Pictures would be great!!
That was my first time uploading a picture to WB, forgot to write my post first...This is the dress bustled, but it wasn't arranged before I took this photo...it had just been tied up but not 'poufed' correctly, so when the seamstress arranged it it even looked better.
I heard to bring BIG safety pins...like diaper pins just in case you need to do quick repairs to a bustle!...hope we don't have to use them, but I will definitely bring some!
I LOVE THAT BUSTLE!! Its perfect for this dress, I was just talking to my mom about how we're going to do this. Do you have any idea how i would describe this to the seamstress? Do you happen to have another picutre of it poufed out proper?
Thanks so much!

I just got in my wedding dress a couple of days ago. It's a Sabelle from Maggie in diamond white. Although i love the dress i'm struggling trying to figure out what bustle to put on for the train. The tailor place i contacted told me pretty much all bustles you put on won't be strong enough to hold the train during the reception-I heard about the French bustle but was told it's really ugly.
Any ideas?? What bustle are you getting for your Sabelle dress??
I am freaking out because i am getting married in a month and still don't have this figured out:)
