Now is definetely the time to look into buying a house if you are wanting to, load rates are low, and there are plenty of programs for no money down. Look into a credit union for the car loan (if that is an option), I have found their rates are quite low and it is so much easier to deal when you have cash in hand.
Is there someplace that you can take a mini-moon within driving distance. Just to get away from your daily routine, but on a budget. I would say spend about 500-1K of your savings if you think you can on a small trip. You deserve to celebrate your marriage, and the longer you wait the more you might let this slip on your priority list.
I hear you, everything seems to come up at once! I'm pregnant, we're buying a house, we're trying to fix up our old house to rent it, and if that's all not enough our air just broke and cost $600. I'm not loving this grown up world.
I honestly don't think we can get into a house now, but I agree that we need to take a freakin honeymoon...or well never do it. Good luck fellow ladies

Seriously, money (or lack thereof) sucks.
We are in need of a car. We really need to move out of the tiny place we've been living in for the last 4 years. And we need to go on a freaking trip (never had our honeymoon). Yes, I need all these things!
However, I feel like I don't have money. I have about 9k saved up, but don't want to let go of any of it because it takes so long to save. My husband doesn't make more than I do, but he pays a lot more for his loans, so really, he can never save.
This just plain sucks :( Sad panda for life
