@MrsMath: are you drinking a lot of water so you pee? I’ve heard of people getting better results using second morning pee.

@MrsMath:  I know its tempting and I would still probably keep peeing and ignore my own advice, but wait another couple days.

And I wouldnt drink a lot of extra water. You want your pee to be concentrated so it can detect the HCG.  Drinking lots of water only dilutes it.

If your truley getting lines, I wouldnt get depressed just yet.  Wait and test again. 9DPO is pretty darn early, but not too early for some.

@MrsMath:  Don’t give up hope yet! This can be a downside of early testing, catching a chemical pregnancy when you otherwise never would’ve known it happened. However, 9 and 10 dpo are still very early and the hCG may be rising but still so low that the lines may continue to be faint. Also tests vary and it really could just be variance in the dye. I would say be cautiously optimistic and take another test in a few days. (I know how hard it is to wait, I’d be testing every day…) I have my fingers crossed for you!!! Good luck!!

@MrsMath:  I think you should stop testing and make an appointment with your doctor. I only ever took one test and it was faint. I just went with it. You will make yourself CRAZY taking test after test and comparing them…

I don’t think you should get upset so soon (advice that I didn’t follow when I was in your situation). It took my lines FOR EVER to get dark, and were super faint for a while. Each test has different amounts of dye so you can’t use them as a quantitative test. You see how 16DPO looks almost lighter than 15DPO… It happens – Stay strong!!

I wouldn’t get upset just yet.  Are you using the same type of test?  If not, that could be an issue.  I think you should wait another few days before testing again.

Don’t stress!! it’s only 10DPO. I hear you don’t start getting a strong line until 14+ days! Be happy you’re getting the really faint one! Congrats!

@MrsMath:  OMG! I can relate! I got a super faint line and now I’m afraid to test because it might have been an EVAP line and I don’t want to be disappointed. That looks like a line to me!! Fingers and toes crossed for you that it keeps going in the positive direction!!
