Hi what does everyone think of these colors together? It will be a destination wedding in Punta Cana and at first I wanted to just use Orange, but it was hard to find a flattering orange dress for my bridesmaids!
We chose David’s Bridal Guava, I am attaching a pic someone else had put on facebook of the same bridesmaid dresses. They are a nice brighto coral, not really salmon but more pinky orange.
Well, the tie the girl used seemed to match well so that was my inspiration too and my groom will use this tie. I also found matching shoes:
Well, for the flowers I wanted to not be so matchy- matchy and use orange and white for my boquet. I want to remove the leaves, and use a tropical flower like I will also use for the bridesmaids boquets. Here’s kind of what mine will look like:
Here’s how the bridesmaids boquets will look except no leaves either and no orange birds of parade. I will subsitute 2 orange roses and the rest will be white roses and a tropical pink flower:
The groom’s bout will be a white rose with orange baby’s breath. The white rose will match my white roses and the orange will be for an extra pop. I first wanted an orange rose but figured it would not match the coral tie:
I considered these flowers to match the coral colors, but to me they did not look tropical and seemed too matchy:
So what do you all think of the orange flowers matching the dresses and with the coral?
I really wanted some orange incorporated and unlike the pic I think since the bridesmaids have bright dresses they will look better holding mainly whtie boquets, and since I will be in a white dress I wanted my orange roses to bring some color.
