so we’ve all heard to get facials at least a couple weeks before the wedding, but is there any particular reason why i shouldn’t get a body polish/wrap treatment…say two days before?
i don’t have sensitive skin, but this will be my first time doing one of these…i just want to be really smooth for my wedding…haha…which is why i’m thinking of having it so close to the date.
thanks for your help!

Can you try doing one ahead of time as well? I would probably avoid anything new for the week before the wedding, just in case.

I wouldn’t want to do any new body treatment 2 days before the wedding in case of an unexpected reaction.

I agree with the PP… I’d give it at least a week. I’m sure your newly polished glow will last a while. 🙂

I had one the morning of the wedding 🙂 There was a day spa at the venue so I took myself along and had a 30 minute “champagne bubble bath” (not real champagne unfortunately, the bubbles were just tiny!) and then a 30 minute body scrub. OMG I felt like a rag doll after that, I was so relaxed! I don’t have sensitive skin either so I wasn’t at all worried about a reaction, it was the perfect way to have time to myself and feel pampered. I couldn’t have a trial because it was a Destination Wedding, if you can have a trial now to make sure you’d be ok that would probably be a good idea.

I am in love with body scrubs! If you don’t have sensitive skin and you are going to a good spa with good products then I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I have never felt so clean and I swear I really glowed afterwards!!! Have fun!!!!
