I know that people are really fond of the "pick your own" bridesmaids dress.  Other's choose from three or so styles, give a color and say pick one of these.  I genuinely prefer the look of all the bridesmaids the same.

Now some background.... Our wedding is taking place, as you see, in October.  We are going to be having an 11 AM outside wedding *weather permitting*. Our meal will be around 12:30 / 1 o'clock.

I am really torn between full length dresses and tea length.

All three of my bridesmaids are tall - they are about the same weight although one is slightly thinner. One has long hair, One has medium length hair which CAN go up, and one has butchy short hair.

One is a brunette - one is a redhead and the other is a hairstylist so her hair is always changing color.

So Where they are all the same body type I think they could REALLY pull off the same dress *when you have a variety of bodytypes - the pick your own dress works really well* - I am thinking they can all really pull off the same length.

The time of day really calls for a tea length dress *which would be cheaper and easier to find* but the bodytypes really call for a floor length dress.. and I plan on having a full length, full skirt wedding dress.

SO is it inappropriate to have big formal wedding dress and have the bridesmaids in tea length? Can tall ladies pull off tea length? Is floor length better?

I think having them in tea length dresses would be great! I wish I had been able to find some before I told my BM's to go ahead and get what they want in a certain color.

I think that since you're having a morning wedding, tea length would be totally fine! I love them and they're really cute.

I love tea length dress and it absolutely can be formal even short.
