So, I got engaged about a month ago, and my FI gave me a sapphire halo ring. I loved the ring, but neither of us were 100% happy with the centre stone. It was more of a midnight blue and it was very hard to see any blue at all. I took it back to the jewellers to get the centre stone switched and I just got it back today! It makes such a difference, I love the sparkle!

kidseahawk: I haven’t gotten many other great pics today. Outside it was pretty gloomy, so I couldn’t get a good picture of it in natural light. I think I will be obsessively taking pictures of it tomorrow, so I will upload some more!
FutureMrsLarson: Thank you, it’s so different from the original. I love it!
Robyn0214: Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Wow that’s such a difference! I’ll be doing the same thing soon. I love my ruby but it shows too much pink and make me feel a bit like Barbie. Doesn’t help that SO is colour blind and red is the only colour he doesn’t see, so when the ring arrived in the post he couldn’t tell if it was red or not lol

mildlybookish: Wow! Beautiful!! Your ring was stunning with the first stone, too … But I do love the lighter blue color of the new one. So, so pretty!!
