@janinaPK:  I ordered mine from Wegman’s.  It’s the same price as what you pay in the store, I think it’s $9.99/dozen and they give you a book you can look through for colors.

I plan on getting mine at Whole Foods (hydrangeas) and bloomsbythebox.com (succulents).  Blooms by the box has roses starting at $1.21/stem

@janinaPK:  I ordered mine for delivery 2 days before (flowers arrived wed for a friday wedding).  I think I actually placed my order about 2 months ahead of time.

We ordered our flowers a month in advance from FiftyFlowers. Lots of them came dead–thankfully, we had enough to do the bouquets, bouts, and a few stems on each table, so it wasn’t an issue.

However, if you only want roses, order flowers from your local grocery store. Ours has a dozen for $8.

we got our flowers from costco and they were beautiful. and costco’s customer service is awesome. whenever we contacted them with questions/concerns they got back to us right away and they contacted us several times by phone/e-mail to confirm all the details of our order.

In highschool, I worked in the floral department at Costco. We would have brides call in and reserve roses for weddings all the time. I think it’s such a great deal to go that way, and Costco has good quality flowers at a great price! I am definitely going that way when I start planning. 🙂

@janinaPK:  i don’t think you get to choose the delivery date. you just give them the date of your event and the flowers are delivered 2 days before, i believe.

I did all my flowers from Sam’s Club.  I would have preferred Costco but the packages they had weren’t what I wanted.

I loved loved loved my wedding collection package!  Those bouquets, corsages, boutoneers, etc, were amazing.

I also got a box of roses, which were good.  The white ones were great and lasted a long time.  The green ones weren’t as good.  They were just OK.

I also got mixed bouquets and those were also good.

I got to pick my delivery date (you can’t order too far out though – I think about a month) and they arrived right on schedule and in good condition.

@janinaPK:  I ordered from a local asian flower market, and was very pleased with the quality of the blooms I received. I ordered 75 lavender roses, 75 purple carnations, 75 white carnations, 50 green hydrangeas, and various filler, as well as 7 bunches of button mums (don’t know how many was in each bunch, but at least 30-40) for $470 total.
