triana's tailors in austin is fantastic. they specialize in wedding dresses. i take all of my regular dresses to her (90% of the time i need at least 2-3 things done to any casual dress) and i've never had a bad experience.
I have also heard really great things about Triana's Tailors, though I haven't been there. I had my alterations done by a lady named Barbara Jacobs, through Signature Bridal. I only needed a bustle but her work was fine and very reasonable.
@MsInterpret: Hi! In San Antonio is a great place I went to called Lee's Tayloring (or taylors) off of Heubner and Babcock. Very reasonalbe and great work! Mom and Pop oriental family owned business. Wonderful people! Good luck and many blessings! Susan

I live in SA but would drive to Austin no problem, for the right seamstress. I need alterations done on my wedding gown. Looking for someone reasonably priced and MOST importantly, experienced in bridal alterations.
Oh and also VERY important; they must be an excellent communicator. I can't risk any misunderstandings!
