How much longer until the end of your deployment? And what branch do you serve in?

I too will soon be a San Diego/Navy wife. Soon in the fact that we will be moving there at the end of summer. He is currently on deployment (prior was CT). We married in July by a jp before his deployment (shh no one knows), but am now planning our 2nd big wedding.
Even though we've had a long distance relationship, I've experience my fair share of military life. I know that I'm in for a lot more than what I've seen these past 3 years. He works long hours and is very dedicated. Holidays, birthdays, anniversaries are not guaranteed days off. Even planning this wedding date isn't guaranteed, we've already had to change the date once (crossingmy fingers we dont' have to do it again). It takes a very STRONG woman to stand by her military husband and the uncertainty of their schedules. I love him so very much and am very proud for what he does for our country.
I'm a military bride who's also in the military... yay! Right now Mr. Aloha lives in Everett, WA and I'm in San Diego. Boo! We are getting married in June '10 after we both transfer to our next commands and I'm super excited to marry my hunny!
Thought I'd comment/revive this post! I'm a military bride too :) We are getting married next may on the Point Loma Sub Base (oceanview room). I am so excited! Right now we are in Corpus Christi, TX, while FI progresses through flight school. We are hoping he one day is stationed there, as we'd love to get back to our home town!
