hey there! I'm using Andreas gorges tailoring in union square. His yelp reviews are off the charts and I'll let you know how my dress tailoring appt goes today. :)

I heard wonderful things about Yun Yun Wong's quality and her reasonable price. it won't be the cheapest, but it won't be like the bridal store prices either.

I personally went to her store thinking I want to re-alter the dress that I altered elsewhere, and she asked me to try it on and said it was altered perfectly, i just need to get used to the tightness. She didn't try to rip me off and make money off me by encouragin me to alter my dress again

I went to Lucy's in San Bruno. She was the head seamstress at Bridal Galleria for 15 years or so. She's (brutally) honest but won't rip you off. Check her out! Great reviews on Yelp too!
Anne Ventresco. She is my tailor, she works out of her home in the Oakland Hills (OMG amazing view from her workroom!) and is A. MAZING. Seriously. And so reasonable too!

@ostrich: hi! just wanted to check in to see how the alterations with Andreas Gorges went?! I thought I found someone that was referred to me by a friend, but now she says she is too busy!!! Ahhhhh, now I am scrambling to find someone :)
hey! Did you use yun yun Wong for alterations? If so, how did it go?
@CrispyRN: I actually ended up making an appt with Novella Bridal in the Financial District, I have my first fitting next week so i can let you know how it goes afterwards!
I'm curious, anyone used Martha from Trudy's Bridal in Campbell?
