HI! I am getting married at the Mission. My date is September 01, 2012!! I am very excited and making deposits since it seems like 2012 is booking FAST. What are your plans?
Hi I'm getting Married THIS WEEKED!!! at Pear Valley Winery in Paso Robles! I'm using Unlimited Events for Rentals, Bloom N Grow in Atascadero for Flowers, My DJ/officiate is Andy Morris, My Cake is from Christine's Cake Creations in Paso, my caterer is Upper Crust from SLO, and my security is Vino Vice Security. My photographer is a wonderful gem named Barbara Nealey who does amazing work (and is incredibly reasonably priced) if you want more info on her feel free to message me and i'll send you the details. I'm also arriving to the ceremony in a 1928 Rolls-Royce... and its a private party who works on donations only. COntact me if you want any contact information or feedback on anyone!!! @julz114: Hi! Congratulations on your recent wedding! I am actually looking to get married at Pear Valley! I believe your wedding must have been about 2 months ago and I would love hear your thoughts! How many people did you have attend? We are concerned about booking the venue as we are looking at about 120-140 people, not sure if it would be able to nicely fit everyone! We just loved Pear Valley and would love to have our wedding there! Thank you so much for your feedback on your wedding! We would love to hear it!

I'm getting married at the Dallidet Adobe in SLO on July 20, 2012! I have booked with Phil's Catering and they haGerry reasonable prices. I also booked with Sprigs n Things for my flowers and Erin is absolutely wonderful with fabulous prices. She isn't pushy to make a buck and very helpful! I also am using RideOn for a shuttle service for my guests and Five Cities Security for my security guard. My photography and DJ are both from So. Cal. where I live because they are friends and amazing!
The ony thing I am still looking for is a videographer...not much $ left in the budget, but I don't want to regret not having one. I would love recommendations :)
@mmccallum: SO did you decide on Pear Valley or are you selecting another venue...
We had about 80 people and it was definitely comfortable andwe could have added more.. I think the venue only has chairs and tables for 90 or so people though... But it was definitely the perfect place to get married for me. I'm posting pics tonight if you want to take a look.

@baseballbride: We looked at the Adobe, but I was pretty set on a barn wedding and I think that our 150-175 guests would have been a little tight. We booed Joel VanZ for our wedding videographer. He isn't the most expensive out there, but I don't knwho how much room left you have in the budget. Originally I had my heart set on Cana Video (which if you haven't seen their videos youdefinetly should!) but after finding our their base price it was way ou. of our budget. Joel has a style similar, but at a more reasonable cost.
Also I am stlook looking for/ trying to decide on hair and makeup stylists. How did you girls decide on? Any one going to the bridal fair in SLO next Sunday?
Ok, so I'm not getting married in SLO, But I am from Bako and just got back from Pismo this weekend....it's exciting to hear about weddings in places I know! lol

@baseballbride: Not sure if you ever found a videographer, but there is a photographer in the Paso area her name is Lindsey Gomes and her husband is a videographer (can't remember his name) and they are really reasonably priced. They travel all around the coast. I had considered her for my photographer but then choose someone local in my city.
I saw a beautiful wedding set-up when I was having brunch at the Cliffs Resort not too long ago!

Hey I know there has to be a few people out there that are getting married in San Luis Obispo or the surrounding area! Where are you getting married? What is your date? I feel like this could be a good place to talk about different vendors that we have contacted or places we have looked at!
I hope some of us central california coast brides come out of the woodwork!! :)
