Forgot to add that we will also be doing a beautiful beginnings wedding ceremony at one of these locations.
I can only speak for Sandals Royal Bahamian, and I can say we loved it. We got the royal honeymoon villa room that came with a buttler. I loved being at the back of the resort in the gardens/villas. It was so much quieter, secluded, and romantic. There were several hidden pools back there that the rest of the resort didn't use. One day, we had a pool to ourselves for about 3-4 hours. Ofcourse, if you want to be more social, there is definitely ways for that as well. Our favorite part of the trip was the private island....It is amazing. Soooo peaceful and relaxing.
The food was alright. I'm a bit of a foodie, so I thought the quality was lacking about. However, I was perfectly happy and did have some very delicious meals while I was there. We really didn't participate in the resort pool area entertainment, so I can't comment on that. They did have fun activities every night whether it was the chocolate night, movie on in the patio (my favorite), or other random activiites.
DH and I are wanting to go on another trip soon. We would like to go somewhere new, but I keep getting drawn back to Royal Bahamian. lol
Thank you for the info! Did you do any snorkeling? How was the crowd at this resort? Mostly young honeymooners?
We are going to the Royal Bahamian July 3-10 for our honeymoon. Our deciding factor was the Private Island at that one... and the picture we saw. Emerald bay is nice.. but the main feature of that was the golf--- and we dont golf

Does anyone have recent reviews? Emerald Bay looks beautiful but my main concern is that we might get bored during a 6 night trip. I have read this is a very "quiet" resort.
