I had a friend who went to both (although I have not been there myself.) Her opinion is that St. Lucia is definitely more romantic for a honeymoon, and Jamaica is more suited to a regular vacation, although both are nice. St. Lucia tends to be more expensive as well, since it's a lot further away. If cost is an issue that might be something to consider.
I have not been to either, but have heard the same from others who have. I would definately recommend St. Lucia for the more romantic and intimate destination - but it is more expensive than Jamaica. MoBay is definately more touristy and if you have romance and etc. in mind for your honeymoon, you might want to steer clear of the more "touristy" spots (even though I think all the islands are beautiful naturally). I think where you're staying plays a major part as well. Some places cater more towards romance, while others are more family friendly and acitivity oriented. Maybe you can try one of the other islands like Turks and Caicos, Antigua or St. Barths?
I"ve been to the Sandals St. Lucia Grand and it was AMAZING. VERY VERY romantic. Ton's of hidden pools and little places to share special moments. THe island itself is magnificent and the location of the resort is secluded but with a view of the whole island, (if that makes sense). Also, there are two other Sandals resorts on the island and there is a free shuttle to take you to the other two. You have full access to the other resorts including their pools and restaurants. I highly highly recommend St. Lucia.
As a side note: I wasn't there on a honeymoon but pretty much everyone else there was, (or their anniversary), so there's definitely a romantic, lovey dovey feeling about the place.
I've never stayed at a Sandles. But I have had friends stay at the
Sandles in St. Lucia and they said they treat you like royalty!!

Does anyone have any suggestions/ experiences with two particular Sandals resorts?
It's between the Grand St.Lucian or the Montego Bay one in Jamaica.
To me, the St.Lucia resort seems more romantic and secluded and prettier. And the Montego Bay resort seems more touristy yet still very pretty and fun.
I know you can't really go wrong with either one, but any suggestions or input would be awesome :)
