I’ve been to Antigua but not the resort.  I love the island because its low key and not overly commericalized.  When I went I met a British bride/groom on their DW.

St. Lucia is on my list but haven’t had the oppty to visit there yet.

My co-worker just got back from his dw at Sandals Antigua, and I saw the pictures. The resort itself is beautiful, and according to him it was very uncrowded. When he and his bride got their pictures taken on the beach, there wasn’t a single other person on the beach, so they could do long shots in the distance without other beachgoers in the the shot. He said they were super pampered and ate a lot of fancy dinners on the beach. Hotel room looked nice, too.

A girl I know honeymooned at Sandals St. Lucia and said it was amazing, as well.

I can’t help much but my good friend and her husband went to the Sandals resort in Antigua for their honeymoon last year and they LOVED it.  They had an amazing time and had no complaints.   I don’t remember the details but they are hoping to go back soon for an anniversary!

Did you check out Tripadvisor.com.

It has tons of photos and lots of reviews…good ones and bad ones.

I will be going to Sandals Grande Antigua for 6 nights for my honeymoon and we paid for a candle light dinner on the beach and a couple massage

we honeymooned at Sandals in Antigua!  LOVED it. We stayed in the Med Village…we booked a venetian room (gosh I think that was the  name) but we were upgraded and ended up on the top floor!  We had the most beautiful view!  I loved the fact that is was only 20 minutes from the airport (I think in St. Lucia it is a very long ride to the resort).  Honestly, I used a fabulous travel agent and she got me, not only the best price I could find, but was able to get us the upgrade and shared lots of advice.  I used Jennifer D at VIP Vacations.  here is her website, http://www.travelbyvip.com.  We are married almost a year and I am getting the itch to travel again so I am going to reach out to her again.  My sister is getting married in Nov and is doing Hawaii.  She has been happy with VIP too.  Good Luck!

My best friend went there (Sandals Antigua) for her honeymoon and they loved it! My coworker is going there in August and her fiance is wicked smart and has done a lot of research regarding their potential honeymoon destinations, so it must be pretty decent!

@jgrindle4:

What advice would you give, as I will be there in a couple of months?
