You are very smart to look into this. My butler suite in sandals Negril was touted as “oceanview” but we were FAR from the ocean and the view was obstructed by trees! We barely had a view of the ocean lol. The room was still gorgeous though.

If you don’t get any good responses I would try tripadvisor forums or even contacting the resort directly.

I stayed at that resort, in an emerald honeymoon oceanview deluxe.

Our ocean views from the room were pretty good (mostly overlooking pool – pic attached), but overall I wasn’t blown away by the hotel. Room was very old, shower leaked all over the floor, back door was stuck open for hours (left open by maid service), and food was pretty “meh.” That being said I loved St. Lucia.

For the price range of the two storey butler suite, I’d check out Body Holiday in St. Lucia as an alternative, or Hotel Chocolat if you aren’t big beach people (we did Hotel Chocolat as a day trip and it was incredible), or some of the super high end hotels in Antigua (Hermitage Bay or Jumby Bay). I haven’t been to either, but they are on my honeymoon bucket list! Definitely look at Tripadvisor reviews!

One more pic: here’s the view from the restaurant at Hotel Chocolat:

It was incredible. They have an infinity pool, and daily shuttles to the beach (15-20 min drive). FI and I love beachs over pools, so we did a day trip, but if you tend to hang out in the pool it was gorgeous! If you pick another hotel, it’s definitely worth the day trip (all the food in their restaurant incorporates chocolate, and you can make your own chocolate bars).
