I just got a HUGE packet in the mail, with a bunch of Sandal’s brochures/books. I’ve personally never stayed at a Sandals resort, I usually go through Apple Vacations–I love that everything is included with Apple, airfar, ground transfers, resort fees etc.. is Sandals the same way, everything is included?
For those who have used both companies, which do you prefer and why?

I don’t have any experience with Apple, but some with Sandals. When I inquired about booking my honeymoon through the Sandals’ website, they gave me the option of booking airfare at the same time. Sandals is also providing me with ground transporation to and from the airport. In the end I didn’t book directly through Sandals, as it was cheaper to book through my travel agent. And yes, everything is included (resort fees, etc.) Hope This Helps.

Darling Husband and I just got back from Sandals Royal Bahamian for our honeymoon and we LOVED it. Can’t wait to go back, or go to another Sandals on a different island. Everything is included — they booked our airfare at the same time as everything else, and ground transportation and all that is included too. Plus all your food, drinks and activities, including SCUBA diving if you’re into that (we were more into eating and drinking, haha). I just thought it was an all-around awesome experience! Plus, Sandals is no kids and it’s couples only, so there aren’t any rowdy spring breakers or families or things like that … mostly just honeymooning couples like us. So we had different “friends” to hang out with every night!
I’ve never done an Apple vacation, but I can seriously vouch for Sandals!

We spoke to several travel agents and every one of them said when you book with Sandals you are paying for the name brand (read: overpriced). They said good things about Apple.

@MapleMoose: I’ve been doing some research online today, and it seems Sandals is WAY more than the Apple resorts–I know they aren’t “Apple’s resorts,” but Apple endorses them. I think I’m leaning towards Apple.. the resorts seem just as nice as Sandals, but less expensive.
