My engagment ring (e ring for the blog addicts) its alternative looking, and I dont know that a wedding band would compliment it. I was thinking lately that I woud forgo a wedding band for myself and just rock the giant sparkely ring. Im very matchy-matchy and think a band would be too much with this ring. Is anyone else not getting a wedding band at the moment?

First of all, gorgeous engagement ring!

Secondly, I don't think it means you are any less committed not to wear a wedding band and if it will bother you rather than make you smile then why do it? You've still got a ring on your finger so everyone will still be able to tell you're taken.

Easy to see where you're coming from on this one. That is a gorgeous ring and it would be tough to find something to compliment it, even if you had something custom done. If it makes you feel a little weird to go bandless, I'd just start calling that one your "w ring" after the big day:)

One of my friends only wears her e ring, except when she's traveling in a potentially risky area. That's when she wears her wedding band, which is substantially more subtle than her e ring.
