Hey bees, totally stressing about flowers. I’m not good at this wedding planning thing, in fact one might say i’m terrible. Thus looking for hours on pinterst at amazing centerpieces and bouquets has only reinforced my suspicion that this is really hard. On top of that flowers cost thousands of dollars but I dont have that much. Any SB bride bees out there have any tips on how to cut costs. Also i’m getting married out doors in a very green palm tree filled venue. I dont want to overdo it right with nature already providing such rich flora!

@pirate2020: Have you considered potted flowers? They are reasonable in price, some come in a nice pot, for others you can buy a pot at the dollar store. Ikea has lovely pots for $3.
Orchids would fit in perfectly with your venue. Lowe’s, Home Depot and Ikea can be sources for as little as $10.

Hmm. How big is your wedding? Also, pinterest is good, but also take into account *your* venue and the scale of everything in that space. You might end up needing less flowers.
Is your venue a popular one? Try asking them for recommendations for vendors, because those ones will have worked with the venue before and will know what works in that space.
See what are your must haves for flowers. Pick out your colors. For me pinterest was more about the flowers I liked than wanting an exact duplicate of it if that makes sense.
A good florist will be able to work with you to figure out your vision in the space you are using and in your budget.
