I don't know about anyone else, but I couldn't see any comments posted for a while on the last thread... so let's start a new one, shall we? :)
How is everyone feeling today??
Continued from: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/sapphire-babies-september-2012
I saw this and thought it was about women whose birthdays were in September. Hahaha, my bad. Hope your pregnancies are going well!
@shimmerofheaven: Good morning! I feel pretty darn good, I'm 6w6d and have yet to be hit by tons of symptoms. I have sore boobs, more tired, and I have to urinate more, but I feel awesome! My first appointment is Monday so I'm excited and nervous! How are you feeliung today? Congrats on the twins!
@Future Army Wife: Thanks! haha
@MARIE901: I'm glad you're feeling well! I got hit by the MS train at 6 weeks on the dot, so I hope you're one of the lucky ones that doesn't get it! Are you going to be getting an ultrasound at your appointment? Feel free to ask any questions about the first appointment - I had mine a few weeks ago!
I'm currently sitting in my car (I'm a visiting nurse) in a Wendy's parking lot attempting to eat lunch without throwing it up! Medication has been a godsend, but the twins remind me from time to time that they're still there! Thanks for the congrats... It's been scary but exciting so far!
I've been sort of absent from the boards as my work computer hadn't been letting me post, but all of a sudden it will - so I'm back! lol
Hi everyone! It feels like I have not posted in forever. It's so annoying that I can't at work because by the time I get home I'm just too exhausted to even look at the computer.
So how is everyone doing? I tried to catch up on the last post but I can't really go back and forth easily. Anyway, congratulations to the recent bfp's! A happy and healthy 9 months to you!
And also congrats to the ladies with the great doctors appointments and ultrasounds! I am so jealous and can't believe I have to wait until 10 weeks.
@shimmerofheaven: oh my goodness, twins! That is so exciting! Did you have any idea before the doctor's visit?
@MARIE901: That sounds pretty much how I was feeling around that time. It's good to not feel too terrible but at the same time know that something is going on in your body!
I think the last time I updated, I was nervous because my symptoms seemed to decrease and my hpt was lighter. I never got around to calling the doctor's office about it because I was so swamped with work and all the sudden the symptoms were back in full force. When I had my m/c in November and I told the doctor that my tests faded and turned negative, she tried to encourage me that it can happen after a few weeks (obviously not the case that time) so I'm hoping that's what it was and I haven't tested since. In any case, I haven't had any cramping or bleeding and still have symptoms so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best news possible at my appointment on the 16th.
@78h2o: I meant to include this in my post above. How are you doing? Have you been back to the doctor? I am thinking of you and praying for a miracle. So sorry you are going through this.
II just posted this in the other Sapphires thread but saw there was a new one started so I will post it here too :) Our baby at 9 weeks 4 days!
http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/wb-ghost-pages .... If we get any more ghost pages follow the directions on that post and you can see them.
@Bao: That is so amazing!
I am glad every onstart doing so well! I am just chilling at 9 weeks. My us isn't until the 6th but I am totally stoked about how awesome out little one is going to look. The meds from my doc have been my savour. I have actually felt half human and I was finally able to get back on my rucumbent bike again. I can only do about 20 mins at at time but it is better than nothing.
I was able to curl in my bonspeil this weekend it was awesome. We totally lost but I am good with that, I like being able to relax on Sunday. I am so excited for next year when I can drinK At the bonspeil. It was really hard to say no without being noticed cause every one kept offering and I didn't have a good excuse... I was like I just don't feel like it right now... But inside I was like " I wish I could. " it looked like a blast. Bonspeils are where the older ladies from town let loose and get hammered! It is hilarious! You have grandmas dancing on chairs and doing shots! Oh it is a blast!
Thank you girls for thinking of me. I did end up miscarrying yesterday at 7 weeks. I had an ultrasound Friday that ruled out an ectopic (thank God!) but baby was measuring small. So I was not surprised when I started spotting and then bleeding over the weekend. Last night's cramps were intense but I think the worst is over and I'm ready to move on. Living in limbo was hell and i've been grieving the loss of this baby for awhile now. So in a way I am relieved that my body seems to be taking care of things.
I wish you all happy and healthy pregnancies! I will continue to follow you guys and wish you all the best! I'm glad I got to be part of your group for awhile at least!
@78h2o: I am so, so sorry for your loss. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and hoping for a sticky little one for you very, very soon. HUGS!
Hello everyone! I feel like I haven't been on here for a few awhile. We had a scare the other week:
http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/dark-brown-spotting-in-early-pregnany-please-help
But in the end everything has turned out fine! The good out of all of this is the doctor ordered an ultrasound and after driving through the dark and in the rain we had our first untrasound and the for the first time we got to see the baby! Seeing the heart beat for the first time (167!) and getting the reassurance from the doctor that the untrasound and the babys growth looks really good put me at such ease. Also I'm a bit farther along then I thought! As of today I am 10 weeks 4 days with a new due date of August 30th (but I'm going to stay on this board because who ever knows!)
I was wondering, is everyone telling parents and family? How are you planning on sharing the news? Last weekend DH's family and my family are getting together for my birthday. I got these cute kid picture books entitled "Grandpa and Me" and "Grandma and Me" with the ultrasound pics inside and "Baby C***" on the name line. It was exciting to have out secret out for the family :)
@78h2o: I am so sorry for your loss! That is really good that is was not eptopic tho! I had that scare with my MC and part of me was super sad but another was slightly relieved. Hopefully you get your sticky baby soon!
@Littlebean912: I am glad everything is going good now! Definitely stay with us! We are telling our parents on Valentines day. It is still a little early but I figured it will be an awesome little surprise.
@78h2o: I'm so sorry for your loss, my dear. Here's to a sticky BFP for you soon!:)
@Littlebean912: I'm so glad everything is okay! How nervewracking that must have been! We told our immediate families immediately and they pretty much lost it and spilled the beans when we found out we're having twins! We're telling select friends right now and will make a bigger announcement after the end of the first trimester... maybe closer to the anatomy scan!
@shimmerofheaven: I was meaning to post on the old thread to say: CONGRATS on the twins! What a huge suprise and amazing news :)
@78h2o: I just wanted to say sorry again for your loss...
My appointment is today at 1:10pm. I'm nervous as all heck since our last first appt didn't go well at all. Send some good thoughts if you think about it!
@2PeasinaPod: Thanks! I will definitely send lots of healthy baby vibes your way. I can completely understand your nervousness but hopefully everything will be fine this time around!!! Hang in there, your appointment is soon!
@2PeasinaPod: My fingers are crossed for you! Let us know how it goes!
@2PeasinaPod: I've been wondering this too, even though I don't belong in this thread. What did they say?
@chastenet: Thank you! :) Such a surprise!
@2PeasinaPod: I've been holding my breath for you all afternoon... I hope everything is ok!
@2PeasinaPod: I hope everything went ok today!
@78h2o: I'm so sorry to hear about your sad news. How are you feeling now?
@Littlebean912: Wow. glad to hear that everything turned out ok! We have only told my mom so far and will tell my dad and in-laws if everything goes ok with my appointment next week. We have just been so focused on getting to the appointment we haven't even thought about how to tell them. Definitely need some good ideas, at least for his parents - it'll be their first grandkid. I love your idea!
@Bao: That is really amazing!!! Congratulations!
HI ladies, I am from the october thread but wanted to tag this thread so i would remember to come back and check on 2PEAS...I knew her from the 6 months &up club:)
*thinking of you 2PEAS!*
Sorry ladies! I should have come back to update yesterday, but we got so sidetracked!
Things went really well yesterday! We saw and heard a heartbeat! It was around 130, which was great and the baby measured at just about 7 weeks (I was 7 weeks yesterday). So so far so good! I have another U/S on March 1st at 10 weeks to make sure things are progressing ok, and then another at 12 weeks. My doctor is so awesome. He is squeezing in as many U/Ss as he can!
Thanks everyone for all the prayers! I think this is finally it for us!
@2PeasinaPod: YAY!! I am so happy to hear that everything is going well! congrats!
@2PeasinaPod: Oh, I'm so happy for you! I've been checking this thread LOTS, and this is the best news I could have hoped for. Congrats :)
@2PeasinaPod: Yay! So happy for you and your sweetheart! What a relief it must have been to see the heartbeat :) I hope they gave you a copy of the picture!
@shimmerofheaven: They definitely did! It's at home right now and it's just a little blip on the screen, but we have something. So excited!
@2PeasinaPod: Wow peas! Our baby had heartbreak of 130bpm we'd we also saw it at 7 weeks and were told we were right arounThayer! Good sign as I am here at near 11 weeks and so far so good!Yippee for September! Did you see that sweet Elley also got her BFP for October? She got good beta too! So happy for both of you!
Hello everyone! Happy Friday :) I hope everyone is doing well and welcome to the new comers :) It's been kinda uneventful here. We have our second appointment with the OB and our NT scan is fast approaching on the 27th. I'm trying to think only good thoughts and how it will go well and our baby is growing beautifully and problem free! I bought my first bella band because I got tired of my pants being tight around my tummy. Very comfortable! My DH and I started taking belly pictures at 10 weeks (I'm 11 weeks 1 day today) and our second picture from yesterday didn't look too different :( I feel a little bigger but it may be all the pasta I've been eating (forget healthy food I want pasta!) How is everyone doing?
@Littlebean912: I wish. I can't wear my jeans comfortable at all. I am resorted to sweats until I can get to the city and pick up some mat clothes :S Brutal. I am only 9 and a half weeks.
@Audreysdance: I did see that! I'm so excited for her too!
Thanks again to everyone else! DH and I are definitely starting to get excited!
@Littlebean912: I'm a pasta lover too...can't get me away from it! Haha...
@2PeasinaPod: I'm so glad your appointment went well! I felt much better after seeing the heartbeat at my first appointment, that's when I first started to let myself believe that this will be our take home baby. At our 10 wk ultrasound we got to hear the heartbeat, so something to look forward to for you :)
Hi there -- I just rediscovered Weddingbee and found the original thread and then this follow-up thread so I hope it's not too late to add my information.
Date of BFP: Jan 6th
How far along are you? 10 1/2 weeks
Estimated due date: September 7th
Date of first prenatal appointment: Wednesday February 15th
How are you feeling? Exhausted, excited, terrified, and extremely nauseaus. Actually the nausea is trumping pretty much all other feelings the moment. I am just hoping to have a few more weeks and then maybe I'll be in that lucky percentage of folks where it goes away after the first trimester.
Who have you told? Our parents, my sister and my best friend.
What are you reading/google searching/preparing for? What foods can combat nausea, what foods are safe to eat, epidurals pros and cons, toxoplasmosis (I have a cat and am completely paranoid at times), and just other random things -- like the costs of strollers, breast pumps, etc. It's all a little overwhelming.
i am so happy to be 11 weeks today! only two more weeks and i am definitively out of the first trimester! baby is the size of a lime. i have been feeling gradually better as well. how are the rest of you ladies?
@manicotti: Welcome! We have a fb page going too, if you are interested!
@audery - yay! That is awesome you are feeling better!
I am still bla but I am so happy to finally be in week 10! Only acouple more weeks of trimester one left!
hey everyone! Ive been meaning to post on these boards since i got my BFP but i never got around to it til now! I just finished reading the first part of this thread and now this one :)
Date of BFP: January 19 (day after my birthday!)
How far along are you? 8weeks, 6 days
Estimated due date: September 22
Date of first prenatal appointment: Guess it was January 19 when I got all the blood work done - pregnancy was a complete surprise, had taken a pregnancy test just to rule it out since my body had been acting so weird!! And then had a doctor's appointment that afternoon which I had already booked and had bloodwork done.
How are you feeling? I've had pretty bad morning sickness since week 5! hasnt been too fun but I'm taking it as a good sign. A bucket has been my best friend for the last three weeks. Also - exhaustion! And I'm a tummy sleeper and its already getting uncomfortable sleeping on my stomach :(
Who have you told? It was very hard to keep it a secret in the beginnning, so had told our parents, siblings and closest friends - but have told all of them to keep it on the downlow since I have a bleeding disorder so theres a high chance of miscarriage - but everything has been fine so far. We're going to wait til 12 weeks before we make it public knowledge.
What are you reading/google searching/preparing for? I had bought a NZ pregnancy book about 2 weeks ago - and I've been stalking the pregnancy boards on both here and reading posts on hellobee.
And I really need to get active about ringing up a midwife!! my GP wanted me to get to 7-8 weeks to see if this bubba was gonna stick so now I'll have to get serious about finding one! eeeekkk! oh and had my first ultrasound on february 14 (valentines present to myself! lol) and saw the lil baby! and the heartbeat was 154!
