On Wednesday, April 30, 2008, Sarah Elizabeth LaCour accepted the proposal of Robert Wayne Jefferson, Jr. Sarah is currently attending Baylor Law School, where she will graduate in May 2009. Robert is a student of Dallas Theological Seminary.
After exchanging numerous, lengthy correspondances on MySpace, the couple first met at a group outing to Waco's Cameron Park Zoo. The relationship almost ended before it began when Robert got lost and was twenty minutes late. He arrived just in time to see Sarah and her friends leaving the rendez-vous exhibit for a quick tour of the zoo before returning to studying. Recognizing her from her profile photo, Robert yelled her name from his place in line at the crowded entrance gate.
For the proposal, Robert orchestrated a lovely, starlit picnic overlooking Belton Lake. The couple plan to wed at the United States Military Academy's Cadet Chapel in the summer of 2009.
