(Closed) Sash over buttons

I wouldn’t. But a seamstress can lift the buttons, tack down the sash, then sew the button back on. I might do that instead.

Have your seamsters sew the sash directly onto the dress and have it end at the buttons so they aren’t covered. That’s what I did.

I did it. I tied my sash in a knot instead of a bow (as my seamstress said, it looks “more like me”). I think it looked just fine!

I’ve seen it and it looks super cute! Cori14 has a post about her first dress fitting of the Enzoani Farlow and I love the way the sash bow is tied over the buttons!
