I’m currently looking into reception venues and this is my number 1 pick based on (1) food, (2) ambiance, (3) price. I’m having a hard time finding any other photos or reviews of it hough (aside from just a snippet here and there that it was great).
Has anyone else used, or thinking of using this venue? I’m also really curious to see photos of what a ceremony there looks like.

We had our reception at a really amazing restaurant called Mercatto (the Mars research building location, but there are others in the city – this one just had the largest capacity).
The food is SO delicious, the service is beyond incredible, and the ambience is everything we wanted. If you call/meet them, tell Doug Anastasia sent you!! He’s so nice.
If you’re budget conscious, you may also want to consider a Sunday wedding – restaurant minimun spends are much lower on Sundays than Saturdays.
Another restaurant that we considered before finding Mercatto was Jump (if you have a larger guest list than 90 or so people).

Have you asked the restaurant? They often keeps a portfolio of event photos held there. It may not be online but if you email them they may be able to help?

lorelai: Hi there, we are meeting with Doug next week for our wedding, any recommedations? Did you have 100 people there? We are prob just at 100 guests and I am worried it maybe too small.
The venue is amazing so I am hoping it works out. 🙂

Ladyaa9: Hi! I’m so sorry I didn’t see your comment until just now!! How’d the meeting go? Did ya tell him I sent you/said hello? We had 90 people including ourselves. It felt great, although I suppose some may have thought it was a tad tight. But, it was intimate and lovely and I’d wholeheartedly recommend a wedding there. They’re just so awesome with everything!

So, did ya decide to book there?

(PS you can see some of the photos from our wedding up in my recap posts! Here’s the post with the most of the resto: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/our-wedding-recap-ridiculously-pro-pic-heavy/)

Mildred’s Temple Kitchen is a great spot as well! It has a smaller seating capactiy, 100, but it has great high ceilings and that modern feel. My friend got married there this past summer. It was beautiful.
