Oooh. I could see this possibly being an issue. What about light cotton robs instead? Cotton might breathe better than satin in the heat. I also like your idea of a light jersey sundress or possibly the towel dress wraps?

I second the idea for towel wrap. Another idea may be a terry dress like this. It can also be used as a cover-up after the wedding, and it can be monogrammed if you want:

Its made for the bride to get ready and it’s custom made. I see no reason why she couldn’t make them for the bridesmaids. (or even do as a DIY project if you’re crafty). 

I’m thinking of getting one for me. I think they are adorable.

@MelissaSB:  Me too, I’d love to know where to fine something like that! The only ones that come up on google are the standard ones with too much elastic at the bust and they dont seem as full as the one you posted!

I would go for a jersey knit tube-top sundress.
