(Closed) Satin wedding dress… bustle?

What a gorgeous dress! I see what you mean about not wanting to mess with the lines of it. I’m not an expert but I think that there’s a kind of bustle where the train is flipped underneath so you don’t see anything on the outside. That might be the best way.

imnotorange:  I agree with PP! I think it’s like an inverted French bustle, something like that.

imnotorange:  ooh that one point bustle is beautiful!  I’d ask your seamstress but I can’t imagine it’s a problem!  I love your dress btw!

I have a satin dress similar to this one.  The seamstress added a bustle so that the train was bustled underneath itself like a PP suggested.  It looks beautiful.  The way it was bustled makes it look like the dress was made that way so the dress won’t loose its look.

I don’t right now and it is in having other alterations done.  But as soon as I get it back I will post a picture!
